Habitat for Humanity Kenya’s  New  National Director

Anthony Okoth Joins Habitat for Humanity Kenya

Mr. Anthony Okoth has joined Habitat for Humanity Kenya as the new National Director. Previously he served United Nations Economic Commission  for Africa (ECA) as the Senior Health Products Supply Chain Specialist.  Anthony has also served  other organizations  in various capacities including, East African Regional Director for  Africa Resource Centre, where he doubled up as Kenya Country Director. He has also worked as the  Associate Director, Medicines for Malaria Venture. Country Director PATH Kenya, Population Services International (PSI) and Clinton Health Access Initiative(CHAI) Zambia among others.

Welcoming the new National Director, Mr. Frank Ireri, Habitat for Humanity Kenya board chairman  observed that Anthony  is bringing on board  a rich   experience and expertise  that will enable the organization to move to the next level. “We are happy to welcome Mr. Anthony to steer the organization towards the realization of our vision of a nation where everyone has a decent place to live  is achieved.’’ Added Mr. Frank.

On his part,  Anthony expressed gratitude and assured the various stakeholders that he will work closely with them and provide an enabling working environment.  “I am excited to take up this role at Habitat for Humanity Kenya, I hope to work closely with  board members, staff, and all the stakeholders to ensure that Habitat for Humanity Kenya achieves its objectives,” said Anthony.

Anthony holds a Master Degree in Business Administration from Daystar University as well as a certification in non- profit management from Harvard Business school. He has engaged with a number of key donors such as DFID, USAID, Bill and Melinda Gates among others.  He  sits in a number of boards including leading the Private Partnership Agenda through the Kenya Healthcare Federation.
