Peter Gacheru serves on the Board of Directors of Habitat for Humanity Kenya, bringing to the organisation a wealth of experience in strategic communications, corporate affairs, and stakeholder engagement built over two decades at the forefront of Kenya’s communications industry.

Peter is the Chief Executive Officer of IMG Kenya Ltd, one of East Africa’s most respected full-service communications agencies, with a portfolio spanning Public Relations, Public Affairs, Events & Conferences, and Sports Management. Under his leadership, IMG Kenya has served some of Kenya’s most prominent corporate and public institutions helping them shape perception, build trust, and engage the communities they serve.

As a board member, Peter contributes strategic insight at the intersection of communications, governance, and community development. He is a firm believer that the right narrative, told with clarity and integrity, can mobilise resources, shift policy, and change lives—values that align directly with Habitat for Humanity Kenya’s mission to enable low-income families across Kenya to access decent, affordable shelter.
